I am a happily married mother of three wonderful boys. I was a single
mother for 14 years to my now 17 year old before marrying my wonderful husband. He has since
adopted my son and we are the proud parents of two more bouncing baby
boys, aged 16 months and 2 months.
I have a diploma in Early
Childhood Development and spent several years working in the childcare
field. Most of my experience was earned in a daycare setting working
with toddlers. I love this age group and am looking forward to enjoying
the toddler years with my own boys.
I have a Bachelor of Education
degree and spent three years teaching high school humanities before
moving into my current position as Early Learning and Child Care
instructor at Red Deer College in Alberta. I have come to the conclusion
that this career path is the ultimate combination of both passions. I
am able to instruct and inspire my students as they move into the child
care field.
I recently began a year long Maternity Leave and am enjoying my time at home with my children.
